My MoneyLineWallet and DoylesRoom online poker mess

About 2 weeks ago, I thought I would play some online poker on Doyles Room. What-a-mistake this turned out to be!

Online poker really is in poor shape these days. I recently used DoylesRoom and this MoneyLineWallet to fund my account, now I am dealing with all the problems. It is unbelievable, MoneyLineWallet can’t even process a 40 dollar payment without a issue. It is just so freaky to me, and after a chat with support I don’t feel safe anymore, who knows what retard has my banking info.

When I first attempted to fund my account, DoylesRoom was unable to process the transaction. Then I was directed by DoylesRoom Security, to use one of their “trusted” payment processors.

I contacted Money Line Wallet, here is the chat-log.

Chat Started: 07-06-2010 07:57:39

Chat Log:
You: hello?
MoneyLineWallet (David): hi
You: oh, I didnt think it was working
You: I made a deposit about 12 days ago, is it ever going to hit my account?
MoneyLineWallet (David): let me check
MoneyLineWallet (David): what is your user name?
You: I think it is XXXXXXXXXXX
MoneyLineWallet (David): hold
You: k
MoneyLineWallet (David): has a debit paid to Global Link shown for $40 plus a small processing fee?
You: I was not awair of a prossesing fee?
You: no
You: nothing has cleard my account
You: what is small prosses fee?
MoneyLineWallet (David): Ok I will have our banking department make sure this is processed tonight.  We had a major software problem at our bank causing a lot of problems but it is resolved now.  The total debit will be  a little over $41
You: why cant I get an exact amount?
You: what is alittle over 42?
You: 41 rather?
You: ok, take your money and close my account, thanks
You: I will post this on my website
What are you thinking when you read that?  ”We had a major software problem at our bank causing a lot of problems but it is resolved now.” WTF does that mean!! That is really scary stuff to a computer programmer, I have to assume somehow my transaction was apart of that, or they would have their money right now. Being a computer programmer myself, after reading this I feel like I need to protect myself. Don’t forget! This is coming from a company that boasts16 times more secure than the average bank”
Who knows how this is going to work out… Thank God it wasn’t hundreds for dollars!
Thanks, for nothing…

Story Update:

I have recently made some contact with MoneyLineWallet and wanted to update everyone.

This is the email I received: email edited for privacy

From: Someone <xxxx@moneylinewallet.com>
Subject: MLW

Message Body:
I saw your post about MoneyLineWallet.com and I wanted to reach out and let you know that I am associated with that service and am in the position to make changes. I have fired David and I have removed most of the old team and associated with better banks.

We both know the state of online gaming is a mess due to it being illegal in the US, but we’re doing everything we can to make it as good as possible. If you are willing I’d like to guide you through the changes to our system personally. We have fixed a lot of the kinks.

As you know eWalletExpress which was the other US depositing option is out of the game as the government finally got to them. We’ve ensured that we are doing everything we can do to ensure they don’t get us and if they do we have fully encrypted the entire database using 1048-bit encryption so that there isn’t any chance our user database can be compromised and have them go after our customers.

If you want to talk use the email above. (xxxx@moneylinewallet.com) and lets see if we can make a better experience for you and others like you.

If you want to sign up for an account or use your old account just let me know and I’ll show you that we’ve gotten ourselves together and we’re ready to make the experience as good as possible.

I am not sure what to even say at this point, to be honest I have been in no shortage of unreal and unusual messes from buying stuff on the web, I have been in this game for awhile now, and to date I can say the best advice I can give  anyone is to – NEVER GIVE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT INFO OUT EVER, EVER, EVER!

These days it almost never matters how creditable a company seems to be over the web, or say’s it is, you just never know what is going to happen. Even these massive companies like Netteller have had problems and it cost “me” the consumer money, and I am to the point of just saying fuck it all together.

Do I love playing poker online? …I do, but until I get the phone number of the “big dick” and shake his hand in person, I am no longer willing to risk any of my BANKING INFO or any financial info for that matter. Just so I can get some online support dude to tell me “DU, I DON”T KNOW.” this is happing more and more on the web. When you take some ones money and give them no where to turn, it’s just not fair!

God bless online poker, it needs it.

More coming… I feel like wikileaks of this story, I love everyone, I just want to play online poker without the POKER up my ass part!

  • Hey I have problems with MoneyLineWallet too. I made some deposits and they cleared my bank just fine but then I started getting double billed a few days later. This all happened this week and I am upset. I talked to David and he instantly acknowledged a “bank software error” Yeah how convenient that I was double billed huh? I just went to the bank and shut my account down and I know I have a couple more coming through but they are draining my account as it stands right now and he will do nothing until I prove him with bank statements even though he came right out and said that they did double bill me several times. I reported all of the transactions as fraud and I’ll let the bank investigate everything with this company. Anyone else reading this do not do business with this company unless you want them to clean your account out too.

  • wow, omg…. Online poker has been a real nightmare for me. I guess shame on me for being so stupid.

  • What can I say about MoneyLineWallet – has worked great for now for 3 months – all I know is when I read chats like the one above I think the guy might work for the competetion

  • we here is what I can say – when Money Line say their bank messed up I was skeptical but low and behold the bank sent me a fefund of my money and the fee – big banks are not perfect

  • omg. im having a nightmare w/moneyline as well. imade a simple 30 deposit from my bank acct on 6/18. i directed the money to doyles room. a week went by and money line never debited my bank acct. i contacted them and got the same bs banking software bs! a week ago i logged into moneyline and they charged me an $80 chargeback fee! now they say i owe $110.00! they never even once attempted to debit my bank acct. i was never overdrawn on my bank acct. now doyles room has closed my acct cause they never got the original 30 bucks from moneyline. i logged onto moneyline today and their live chat is down. you can only leave a message. oh by the way, the guy i got on the chat sessions was also DAvid. pretty funny huh? this company is a total scam. im worried about my banking acct now. what happens if this company starts debititng my bank acct?

  • I actually got them to reverse their charges, but now no one is accepting MoneyLine as a form of deposit. Money down the tubes and the threat of fraud all in one place that swears security!

  • I have used this site Money Line Wallet at Doyles Room for 45 days now without a single hitch. Works great for me. Steve

  • I have actually used MLW on three sites within the last 2 weeks and it worked seamlessly for me and the fees are a lot better than Western Union. Doc

  • I too am having problems. I made an initial deposit of $110. The draft was declined. MLW charged me an $80 chargeback. I used their echat to try to resolve the issue, and eventually had to call my bank. According to my bank they tried to draft the amt, but it was declined because they (MLW dba Diamond International) added “leading zeros” to my account number. I looked at my MLW account and saw I was given another chargeback (now $160). exhausted by MLW’s echat, I eventually received a call from “Ed” at MLW who stated they would resubmit the draft with the new info, and rectify the chargebacks.

Yesterday I attempted to log in to find my MLW account was frozen. Echat was able to reinstate it, stating that they had a record of me asking to close it (which I never did). The chargebacks were removed, I’m glad to say.

The whole experience has had me loose sleep and really frustrated me. Their system seems shady to me as they lack a direct Customer Service phone number and inconsistent reporting. With the data problems they are having with me and others, it seems like a biz run by some high school programmers in their mom’s basement. The draft problems have left me banned (until things are fixed at MLW) from the poker site I used it on. I have a positive balance, and cannot play at Doyles Room now. Hopefully the redraft will clear things up. Sorry for the rant… Just wanted to make people aware.

  • wow, thank you for your comment! I am very sorry for your problem.

  • Wow, awfull to read. You really dont know what could happen with your money, then you end up with things like this. A major software problem? If true it would prove that they don’t know what they are doing, if false they also don’t know what they are doing.

  • I’ve used MLW several times, there security is excellent as it prevents “fraudsters”. True their was a problem with one of their banks and my account was double debited but they corrected the problem as soon as I sent them my bank statement. I have noticed the debits now go to a different bank. The chat room staff told me they had to switch banks. I have never had any problem with this wallet and I will continue to us them to play at Doyles, Saturn Bingo and other sites. Probably some of the complaints are from people who tried to commit fraud and couldn’t get past their security!

  • Hi David from MLW. Nice fake review of moneylinewallet. The truth is your company is a fraud not the customers. You have several people here who have had problems with your company yet they are the bad guys. I don’t think so. Just a word of caution this guy David is either a worker or owner of MLW so he is going to try to convince you the company wont screw you over yet the truth is they will double bill you in hopes you don’t notice and when you do and complain they will blame bank software error. No, they won’t instantly credit you back instead its your job to send them statements, etc to get back YOUR money. Sounds real fair huh? There are other ways to get money onto sites if you really want to play. At all costs, avoid MLW (Moneylinewallet).

  • @Jim: I don’t think the problem is MLW. Although I really disgust those fake reviews, I think the problem lies with Doyles Room. I read on multiple poker forums about Doyles Room not paying. A thread on 2 plus 2 is about Doyles Room not paying affiliates (affiliates advertise Doyles Room for a cut of their earnings).

But I agree with you that MLW should be avoided.

  • I am having the same FUCKING PROBLEM! What can I do? DoylesRoom’s does nothing, and this money shit-hole does nothing! God, i’m just fucked!

  • Hey, what ended up happening with the fraud investigation? I have a pending transaction awaiting from MLW and have heard bundles of stories about their fraudulent ways. Thinking about closing my account and reporting them as fraud.

    let me know what happened!

  • Most customer unfriendly business I have ever dealt with. Complete amateurs or frauds, not sure which one. Don’t use MLW

  • OMG… I JUST THIS MORNING OPENED AN ACCOUNT WITH MONEY LINE WALLET,I HAVE NOT MADE ANY DEPOSIT FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT AS YET. THEY DO HAVE ALL OF MY BANKING ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND SINCE READING THESE BLOGS CONCERNING THE THE PROBLEMS OF DOUBLE BILLING AND SO FORTH,I HAVE TO SAY I AM HOPING AND PRAYING MY BANKING INFORMATION WILL STILL BE SAFE…DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PIC CLUB OR ANY COMPLAINTS CONCERNING THEM. THANKS! ALSO I HAVE TO SAY THAT IF THE USA WOULD ALLOW US TO PLAY AT THE ONLINE CASINO AND POKER ROOMS,THEN PERHAPS MOST OF THIS ONLINE SCAMMING OF USA PLAYERS AND THEIR BANK ACCOUNTS WOULD THEN BE ON THE DECLINE,AFTER ALL THE MONEY IS OURS AND WE SHOULD BE PERMITTED THE FREEDOM OF SPENDING IT AS WE CHOOSE.

  • well let me tell you first i read all these comments and two of them point out something that gave them a good report which were there name Doc and Steve. And those are the names of the people i talk with at moneyline to get my money back that i did not open a account with them. i contact the companies that were 3rd party they said a refund will be given. when i tell money line this they say things i never heard of. they want me to send them a void check my id and a bill in order to get my money back into my account they took from which total over $1400.00. I have tried to do some research on this company i found a over seas number i called it and it was doc that answer not answering like a company would and when he dont answer a machine picks up and says steve. iam to the point to call a news station about this company cause i dont think its safe to use from what i had to go through so far. he even stated to me on the phone that he knows everything about me even my blood type what kind of bus. says that to you? and iam not understanding if the company that is going to refund the money back why money wallet cant put it back from where it was taken out of never heard of such a thing. i contact my bank about this they told me not to give him anything and to file a international police report. they also said when a credit or refund is given its put back the same way it was taken. he wants to send me a money order if i even get that. i would not use this site at all. never heard of some much information a merchant has on you and wants from you. its not right even the bank said he did not need that for a refund. i would really try to use something eles not this company. and i dont see why companies are using it. when i tell him who i spoke with he says heads are going to go flying and people are going to be out of a job. what company says that? well lucky me i have trap cell on my phone that record everything so if i dont hear something by the end of next week them iam taking it futher. cause this is not right.

  • mary zamzami says:

Just a update. Well I took my problems with mlw to my bank they called my bank and got no where. They are a company that is a scam. They go in peoples account and take money they should not be taken. Me and my bank are contacting the fbi and home land security. Today doc or steve he use both names emailed me and said he is leaving for eurpoe and his computer will be off for 3 weeks. Wow that’s kinda funny is he running from this??? Well I have asked where I have made purchase asked for dates and times and mlw will not tell me nor give me the account information so I can see what happen iam told the account is froze. Well if I used there services then I should be able to see or find out what for. I would really watch this company if it is even a company. He sounds like someone that came out of the woods. Cause he tells me things I never heard of. He is a person from mlw that is a scam and does fraud. Becareful with this company.

  • I typed my info in because Alladins Gold said their capability of regular credit card dep. was down and recommended this. However when I read the terms it said they can run a credit report on you,and if your bank denies a charge they can charge you anything up to $100.This is crazy!Erased all my info and told live chat it was crazy to authorize them to run my credit report!!!

  • Hey Scott! Why do you post these criminal pieces of shit MoneyLineWallets fake post?

  • For the same reason I post your, my brother.

  • Charlie Cady says:

Hey guys, I was about to submit my information to activate my account with this company to get my account funded for an online poker site.. when opening their ‘Docs’ page I received a ‘Phishing’ warning… For those of you who don’t know, phishing is not good.. So i decided to do a little back-end research of the company and it’s affiliates. I am making a lot of progress and discovering weird information.. Let me know by posting a comment if you want to hear the full detail..

  • I wish I would’ve found this review BEFORE I had given these clowns my info. @Charlie Cady…I’d like to know the full details of your findings when you have the time. Signed up a few weeks ago to do some sports betting on 5Dimes, which is the only reason I didn’t question their legitimacy initially because of 5Dimes reputability. Made a deposit over 2 weeks ago and the transaction still hasn’t cleared my account. There excuse was bank issues due to snow storms up north. Really? REALLY? Now I’m worried that once the transaction does clear they might start double and triple charging me.

  • I was going to play on Ultimate Bet and I now regret signing up for an account with MLW! I am a friggin idiot for giving out my banking info to a site that was mediocre to begin with!! I was wondering how in the world do you cancel an account with this crappy site and how come the stupid ass chat thing doesnt work anymore when I go to click on it?? I was talking to Tim and trying to activate my account and all of a sudden it said my account identity couldnt be confirmed and the chat closed and now everytime I click on the chat I get ;-( sign and nothing happens. I am going to my bank tomorrow and withdrawing all my money and waiting this out until my account gets canceled. I assure that playing online poker is no where near worth the extent of this bullshit stress! I cant believe I was that STUPID TO PUT MY PERSONAL INFO ONLINE!!

  • You are the MAN! WOW, your gr8!

  • I wish I would have found this review before too! I went in, gave all my info, put my picture and all that bs in and then went to active my account and I talked to a girl named Christina! She dind’t say SH!T.. just thank you(prob meaning thank you for your bank information so now our company can rob you) and that was it.. after that, my account was banned and I can no longer get on the chat or ANYTHING!!! I am contacting a lawyer today and I am going to try to sue the HELL out of this company, and if they even TOUCH my bank account… sure enough I will then own their piece of shit company

  • People need to keep in mind, MoneyLineWallet is just a website, just like this website. Just like Paypal or eBay and many others. This is why you need to use your Credit Card when shopping online, because if you have a problem, your Credit Card company is going to go get your money, and they are easy to reach.

  • I just got scammed too!! Can anybody tell us there follow up story. Did you all close and change your checking accounts? Did they try to scam more money after you closed your moneyline account? I need to know whats the best action to take on this company ASAP!!!

  • bob_esq says:

SCOTT! You may have uncovered more than just some little scam! Check this out: http://www.ripoffreport.com/consumer-services/quick-tender-use-my/quick-tender-use-my-wallet-web-a7fa4.htm

  • Money Line Wallet has stolen my personal information and charged my Bank Account multiple times for several thousand dollars!?! I reported this to my bank and had to change my bank aacount number. Now Money Line Wallet is claiming I am a coward and committed fraud! They say they have all my information and they are taking ME to court! As I am the victim of their scam, I have no idea what they are tking ME to court for. The bank says they continue to try and debit my closed account! How do we stop these criminals?

  • Personally I have used MoneyLineWallet and have never had a problem. It is actually a pretty easy service to use. One thing to point out, some of the links you have associated with this post are for UseMyWallet/Quicktender. They are two completly different companies. UseMyWallet/Quicktender and MoneyLineWallet are not associated.

  • hmmm, I never noticed this… thanks!

  • I’m glad I went and looked up MLW before signing up, after Cake Poker tried to push me in this direction. I sent Cake a number of emails and their responses were useless. I told their agent that I hope he is looking for other employment! I DID NOT sign up with this site and will never give out my information to a site that states they can debit your account anytime they want.

MLW is a complete scam and I am horrified and disgusted that the U.S. government hasn’t crushed this piece of shit company yet.

I REALLY hope that all of you with troubles find a way to resolve them. This is horrific. I will play live from this point forth.

THIS IS NOT WORTH THE ACCESS!!!!

  • Im w/ you Spencer… definitely glad I used my brain and did my homework, like I always do, before I got myself into some crazy mess. I will say it baffles me that this continues to happen… hey Mr. Asher do you know of any poker sites where we U.S. players can actually deposit and withdraw funds? Without going thru this kind of a disaster? Good luck to all that have been affected… my prayers are with you.

  • MoneyLineWallet are bunch of damm crooks. I signed up them on 7/14/11 and now I can’t log in and I am banned from the chat room. All of my personal information is out there. If I see any accounts opened up in my name I going after they ass. I have a $150 in that damm account or maybe in its Kirstin, Christina, Melissa, Matt bank account all of them are a bunch of crooks. How in the hell you create a account and in 2 days you cant log back it, theres something wrong with that picture. If some knows how to get in contact with these fools let me know. Because noone is returning my emails. I have already been a victim of identity theft.

  • mike leatherwood says:

  • Guys, so sorry to hear about your bad experiences. I had my too. I just reported they to FBI

If you feel comfortable – do just the same. It is on line and simple

    http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

We need an American poker site. There is no other way for me to play online but when, and I hope soon, they will make it happen in the US.
